Tiny Plays For Ireland

Tiny Plays for Ireland is a really great project from The Fishamble Theatre Company in association with the Irish Times. Tiny Plays for Ireland attempts to take a snapshot of the country right now via a series of 3 minute plays script-written by a mix of the general public and some of Irelands best loved writers.

The brief posed to the Irish people was, “what can be achieved with three minutes of stage time, what are the issues that need to be addressed, and who are the people that should be brought to life on stage?“

This exciting project received over 1700 submissions and the entries have been painfully whittled down to 25. All have been cast and are at the rehearsal stage to be aired over a 2 week period at the end of March. More information also available on facebook.
