Project Aura: Bicycle Safety Lighting System

Project Aura is a bicycle lighting system designed to address the issue of nighttime urban bike commuting. Rim-mounted LEDs change color based on how fast you pedal your 2 wheeler. The lighting system is self powered by a front hub dynamo. Although not commercially available yet, the idea is being developed by 2 industrial design students from the States who have been getting alot of attention and even picked up an award. We think Daft Punk would approve.
