Cutting & Pasting Around The World

Pogo aka Nick Bertke is a man who knows a thing or two about cutting and pasting. So much so that right now he is fundraising to embark on a ‘real world remix tour‘ where he plans on recording audio and visual footage in different cities and destinations around the world to remix into an A/V album. A really nice idea.

Shown above is a great sample track he made using footage of his mother gardening. While it really reminds me of Coldcut’s classic A/V track Timber, I think the personal and documentary-style nature of Pogo’s idea will set this project apart.

Really can’t wait to see the results. I wonder will he come to Ireland…
