All Star Animators In Town

An all star line up of international animators are in Dublin today for ISA CON 2011. Pixar‘s Adam Burke will speak in the Sugar Club tonight about his involvement with “Day & Night” – one of my favourite animations of 2010.

The ISA CON is run by the Irish School Of Animation which is based in the Ballyfermot College of Further Education. The school has produced many world renowned animators such as Academy Award winning Richard Baneham (Avatar / Weta) and Academy Award Nominees Tomm Moore (The Secret of Kells / Cartoon Saloon) & Darragh O’Connell (Give Up Yer Aul Sins / Brownbag).
