Set up by four US enthusiasts Aaron Carambula, Erik Marinovich, Dennis Payongayong and Jason Wong the blog/website now plays host to a mammoth collection of real quality. In this video Marisa Guzman-Aloia follows James progress on his ongoing project "All the Buildings in New York". On arriving in the city he felt a strong association with the buildings he had seen in films like Westside Story, Rear Window and Sesame Street. The exhibition opens today at The Ark in Dublin's Temple Bar. The installation is part man, part machine and part engineering, part performance. In creating the installation George Higgs has housed a series of handmade acoustic instruments into a moveable frame and has prepared specific compositions for them.
